Phone charger was in Steve's boot. New bank account is opened and numbers for keeping track of it have been retrieved. Two forms still to fill in, no rush except that no overdraft until loan is paid in. Huge pile of washing still to do. Radiators working when manual override used. Washing outside being soaked daily by rain. All is okay.
Edinburgh was fantastic. I may have spent quite a lot of it panicking and or being very angry, but I still really enjoyed myself. I should really apologise to everyone for being so ratty but they explained several times that they know what I'm like of a morning. Not A Mornings Person, apparently. I wake up in a foul mood even if I have had enough sleep, which I didn't that week. I feel bad to Andrea D as she probably didnt expect it and got upset, but at least it was fairly obvious when and why I was angry. Meh.
Anyway. I haven't sorted out all the flyers and tickets and maps and stuff from the holiday (and my memory is external, like bees'), but I can tell you the three best shows I saw were Johnny and the Bomb, The Trial and The Libertine. These last two were just top class, and the characterisation of JatB was excellent. I feel like I should list everything we did but... meh...
I've had a good summer. Been away three times, seen a lot of theatre, spent a lot of time with good friends. Oh, and we went skiing yesterday. I'm now mostly worrying about money, but other than that there isn't really that much to do, so hey... I could read some more books...
