on friday night we went out clubbing - i'll not put the name of the club, it's hidden, but it does have a website so when there're pictures up i'll f-lock a post with linkage. bluecass wore her new wig, which she'd spent the day making - sewing multicoloured dreadlocks onto a turqoise blue short wig. it looked great, and she wore a white dress with biiig slits up the sides. she wore flat shoes so she looked a bit small next to me in my heels... but hey, it was loads of fun anyway. she lent me a gorgeous dress, patterned holdups (from stockingshq, natch) and a mini top hat which is just teh cute... oh and she did something at my hair which i never saw properly but took an impressivle long time to fall out (that's more than five minutes...) anyway after a really long minicab ride cuz the driver kept getting lost, we reached the place and realised we were the most dressed up there. meant we got lots of friendly comments all night. it was actually a really friendly place, everyone would chat and smile and wave, you didn't get the usual kind of competitive dancing and crap, it was all just fun. plus, at half time there was fruit :) we were there from midnight till about twenty to six, at which point the club was getting quieter and gradually packing up. also i saw denny and helen again, and squid and avalon and her bloke, whose name i've forgotten, and met reagan and ben and stu and hung around with all them and had lots of fun dancing and playing jenga. woot.
yesterday we didn't do much, i've made brownies a couple of times and we're starting to sort out the eBay stuff. tomorrow we'll prolly go to camden and fairygothmother, maybe meet up with denny and helen again for a meal. they seem to have taken a liking to me, though as far as i remember when we met i spent most of the day asleep and not saying much. meh. and then i think i'll probably leave on tuesday. dad's renewed my car insurance so i could stay a bit longer, but duppi was talking about meeting up on tuesday to celebrate his leaving work. not sure if he's organised that, and what he was planning on doing, so if anyone knows, mail me or comment here...
