I'm at Steve's. This shouldn't really be surprising at the moment.
Why is something shouting "Hello" at me though? I suspect it's livejournal, and am tempted to turn it off. I imagine it could get distracting if I went back to my listening, leaving this page open. Hmmm. It's the fact that it happens two seconds after I click a different window that's really annoying.
Anyway. Steve is at work, I am on my third of three days off, and today is payday. This would spell a recipe for shoe shopping if it weren't for some other things I have to do, which are easiest while here (also, we have better tea). I also might have to throw a few things out in the kitchen - there are some carrots which I'm fairly certain we've had about a month which haven't really been looked at, though when I glanced vaguely at them yesterday they didn't even feel squishy. Weird organic perma-carrots. Also there are fresh sugar-snap peas and some little fine bean things, which should be nice. I'm trying to get back into green things since my diet has been both bland and unhealthy lately. I think subconsciously I tried to even out the blandness with chocolate :P
Speaking of which, I have a bag downstairs of fourteen selected Thorntons chocs (that is, I selected them) and it cost me four quid! I felt less guilty about this because Ste paid two for them, but still. Is all halfway decent chocolate this expensive?
Mmm, need lush stuff. My card doesn't work on their site :@ can't remember if I've mentioned. But hey.
Yep, the minute I click off this page I get a rather annying voice in my ear. Piss off el-jay.
xx

Some of the pop-up adverts or the supported within-box ones are advertising sites that give away smileys. The most common such has a very irritating picture of thirty or so, one of which shouts hello periodically.
It's very annoying. Block popups. Consider adblocker.
You could try green&blacks chocolate - it's got a decent percentage of actual chocolate, and people say its good, but ut costs a lot less than that.

Also, put Firefox on Steve's machine, and then download and install AdBlock (https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=10&application=firefox) as it's very good at blocking ads, popups and the like. I'd set it to 'hide ads' rather than 'don't download ads', though, as that way the advertiser is happy that their advert is being downloaded, but you don't have to see it!

Yep. Beanies (hippy shop) sells bars of Green and Blacks, which are considerably smaller than '14 carefully selected chocolates', for over £3, so I'd say you actually got a good deal. There are specialist chocolatiers on Ecclesall Road into which I have not dared go, for fear my bank cards would *actually run away* in fear.
