we went to james and leanne's. i took fireworks and alcohol, was introduced to a cocktail mixer type dude called mark who was impressed that i was drinking mickey finns (better than sourz and generally ace) all night without wincing (or falling over i suppose), kissed lots of cornet players on the cheek at midnight, sang embarrassingly well on the kareoke playstation game and was pleasantly surprised at boyfriend actually snogging me in actual public... then went to bed before i collapsed and had an argument with boyfriend who never ever wants to go to bed until i've been there at least three hours. and then made up despite one cornet player's earlier prediction to the contrary. huzzah! we surprise the world! also had cute fuzzy blue toy stolen by host's next door neighbour's five year old daughter, and made spoons of ice. a good time was had by all :)
