i really want a subscription :(
oh, and they're getting worried about noboday taking languages at A level. perhaps if there were some decent teaching in high schools, we wouldn't all be so worried about how hard it is at A level. Heck, I got an A at GCSE german, but didn't take the A level for fear of being crap at it. Perhaps I should've tried anyway *sigh* but there wasn't really much incentive.
anyone know anything interesting about the review of the human fertilisation and embryology act? i can't seem to find out what's actually been said. there's an article here: http://comment.independent.co.uk/leading_articles/article306353.ece that looks promising but as has been mentioned, i'm not subscribed. grrrrr.
in other news, racism is bad. in any form.
omelette however is good. though not a perfect sandwich/pancake/pasta substitute, it does smell nice. and have lots of cheese and bacon. huzzah, i think... and now i can't eat all of it :(:( *cries and throws toys out of pram*
hmm just found this http://education.independent.co.uk/news/article304910.ece obviously about unis seeing module grades, the breakdown rather than just the overall doodad. i approve, though i still don't like the implication that people get in purely through grades. that just emphasises bluecassandra's point about academia and stuffs. meh.
damn top-up fees. i guess we'll just have to see what happens.
hmmmm (education again) http://comment.independent.co.uk/commentators/article305876.ece
