:O i am confronted by a blank page, and lo the words forsake me!
okay better here. i can always go back and fill that, see.
but that would make the above sentence not make sense! ah cruel ironies of fate!
or something.
had general studies today. interesting, though i dont think i did terribly well. instead of answering the questions i kind of answered the subtext... so the last essay, worth 25/60 marks, ended up being a rant about how marriage as an institution does not constitute a family unit, thankyou very much, and whatever happens with families it'll all be okay really. which is really not what i was asked... ahh well, they seem to mark on the basis of "hey, this candidate has a brain, lets give them some marks", and i already have enough to pass from the last five exams. gotta love that modular system ¬_¬ stupid general studies.
it turns out i double booked myself for this saturday, and now i feel a bit stupid about it. having not signed up for easingwold with the tMP (online brass band forum) band, i should've known i had a reason not to be there. then this week i was sepcially invited by another euph player because they were one short, and i forgot greenalls had a gig booked. having already agreed to both, much questioning and apologising was done on my part and i hope it is all sorted now. i am doing the greenalls gig despite missing out on a chance to meet and play with BOTH of besses' euphonium players, because what with holland and there being other euphonium players and all, i'd rather stay on greenalls' sweet side. plus, it looks like a lot of fun and there'll be a barbecue somewhere afterwards.
now i have to go get a cup of tea, and talk to people. ooh the excitement.
xx
