I highly recommend the work of Joey Comeau. The link is to his Lockpick Pornography page, where you can read the first seven chapters of a book of his. It's a mindfuck. He also writes Overqualified and an awesome photo/comic strip, A Softer World. Go investigate.

yes, it was you I was particularly recommending it for, considering that recent post :)
I don't tend to filter a huge amount, mostly because it took me forever to work out how to do that and what it meant. hence why I now have a public and a private blog.

Makes sense.

I do have filters, although I almost never use them. I have the deeply personal, intimate circle filter. (AKA - the ugly breakup filter ^_^ ) I have a sex filter primarily because my sister really doesn't want to read about that. I have a writer filter and Boston and Montreal filters. I had a cooking one, but it turns out even non-cooking people don't mind reading about food.
