so, i thought maybe it was time to actually give out a bit of news.
hummm....
1: I passed both my Grade 8 exams. I got merit in singing, and honours in euphing. *squee*
2: I have my first A level exam, Drama on Friday. This is not good, but it isn't the end of the world.
3: I have lost/thrown away the paper counterpart to my driving licence - I now have to reapply, and take the theory test rather later than planned. My driving instructor will not be impressed...
4: On account of my losing my paper counterpart, Mum has spent all of today sorting through her "filing system" and seems to be making some headway into throwing things away (I hold that this is all our house actually needs to be tidy, but I'm still too lazy to actually DO it :P).
5: Mum asked today when I could sign on.
6: Revision is difficult when your mother doesn't acknowledge that what you're doing could actually be important. Keeping your temper is also difficult when your father laughs at the idea that you ever do work.
7: Mum has a funny bruise on her arm, and she doesn't know what from.
8: I went swimming the other day. It was fun.
9: Mum has started on some weird course of garage-roof-planting. At the moment there is a hexagonal box up their, holding a few straggly plants which she hopes will grow. If they do, we'll be putting more up.
10: A door mystically slammed shut in the wind yesterday. Unfortunately it did this on the joint of my second finger on my right hand. Writing is now painful, as is lifting things or opening car doors if I'm not really, really careful. Typing and playing euph etc still seem to be okay though.
11: It is unlikely that I will be going to Greenalls rehearsals for the next few weeks, unless I feel an inexplicable need to leave the house. Being as how I'm not going away to their next contest (in Holland), there's no need for me to get shouted at any more for playing a top B "overblown and really out of tune". That one made me giggle, since I was the only person playing it... and Jon didn't say if it was sharp or flat... and then he got upset and said it wasn't funny, but I'm sure you can see my reasons.
ehhh... I'm sure other stuff has happened too. Dad is his normal paranoid self. Grandma P seems happy. Me and Mum were chatting about Rowan today, anyone know how that side of the family is doing?
xx

can has cookie?
I did that. To be precise, I shredded it.
Phone them up, swear down blind you've lost both pars, pay £19.00 for the privilege and voila! It's back in three days. You will feel stupid for the rest of your days, however.
