we were to have a dress rehearsal on wednesday night, when me and jo went to meet the student council quickly before it. got taken to the deputy principals office and told we hadnt got authority and stuff, we'd basically organised it wrong, phrased it like they were the kind ones and wanted us to carry on but made us sound like idiots, basically sapped me of the will to try which was probably the intention. said the first they'd heard about it was when we checked some posters with them, despite the fact that we'd checked guidance notices with them at least two weeks earlier... forced to postpone, and while i'd like to see the show go on, i don't know if i can take starting again with the admin.
doesn't help that my cast are telling me "you need to" motivate my cast and "you need to" assign jobs and "you need to" make everything crystal clear for them... firstly they're implying that they themselves are idiots with no initiative, and while it'd be easy to believe, i'd like not to have to; second, why do I need to when it's everyone's show? why am now being made to do something by people who havent done anything to keep it going themselves? and what was i doing before, exactly? worshipping the god of brick walls?
