Came home all excited tonight because I'd been thinking. Well, I'd been playing a new weird-sounding eupho piece as well, which is always good, but mostly I'd been thinking. We have a bandstand nearby, a little one in a park with the museum, which is never used. What if a group of players were to get together for just an hour every week, same time, same place, every week? Wouldn't that be a great way for people to get used to the existence of brass instruments? Word would spread, maybe...
and then I got thinking about arrangements as well. I'd love to get hold of some apocalyptica music, see if it would work for euphonium. Although I suppose I could work from scratch, it'll take hella lots time :)
