Lessons with D don't start till next week, so I'm spending the time getting back into my pieces after the holiday. When I practised at home I mostly played exercises and studies, and I wasn't motivated to keep up the two hours a day regime. Still, my sound isn't any worse for it, and it's good to be able to practise in the mirrors again. Once or twice I've played in the organ room, which Matt recommends because it's very noticeable when your sound is bad, and very pleasant when it's good.
Scott wasn't in brass band so I played solo again. Sight reading Credo was fun! All the pieces we are doing are quite taxing and the concert will require good stamina; which is good motivation.
