Just a quickie. At my selection weekend I saw various shapes and sizes of women struggle with various tasks. I blithely assumed I would be okay at everything and, as well as sailing through the literacy and numeracy tests, I did pretty well in the strength tests and the run. I didn't have to work hard at these things. This is because I've had good nutrition most of my life, as much as because I've played the euphonium and developed various muscles. I've never been pressured to diet by anyone close enough for me to give a shit. Thank fuck.
