No, not Valentine's Day - although I'm glad that some people are enjoying that. The 14th February is actually my brother's birthday, which I am also doing nothing for (sorry), and that's not what I'm on about either.
For me, today is Vagina-Day - the original day from which the season we have now came from. Across the world, hundreds of cities and colleges are showing The Vagina Monologues to raise awareness and money to end violence against women and girls. This is the day it's all about, really. And what of romance? Well what's more romantic than saving a woman's clitoris?
Later in the week I'll post more about my own production of The Vagina Monologues. For the moment, just be happy knowing that the V-Day season is well and truly open.
